Shopping Online
To add an item to your bag, simply click the add to bag button next to it. (Items you put in your bag will not be bought by you until you have completed the checkout process.)
To remove an item from your bag, simply click the remove link next to the item you wish to discard.
To view what is in your bag at any time, click the "shoppingBag" link in the page header.
To purchase what you've selected, click on your shoppingBag and click "checkout". Follow the three simple steps to purchase your items.
Once we have confirmed your order, an account for you is automatically established for the Modern Retail community of stores.
To access your account in the future, click the "myAccount" button in the header of any page and enter the e-mail address and password you created at checkout. (If you have not been through checkout, but would like to create an account, simply click on my account and follow the steps to create a new account.)
Sales Tax
Based on Constitutional guidelines for interstate commerce, we are not required to collect sales tax.
Coupons & Promotional Sales
Layaway
Please contact our customer service representative to put an item or several items on Layaway. Items must be over $100. 30% of the total cost of the item(s) is required as a deposit. You have one month to pay for the item(s) in full. After 10 days Layaway deposits are non refundable and not subject to store credit and exchange. Prior to 10 days you may receive store credit back for the deposit. No cash refunds.
Coupon Codes
To use a coupon code, please follow these steps:
Select the item(s) you wish to purchase and add them to your shopping bag.
When you are finished shopping, click on your shopping bag. the items you are ready to purchase will be listed. Select the "Checkout" button.
You will be asked to confirm your credit card details. Once your billing information has been provided, click "Continue." On the Checkout Confirmation page, you will be provided with a box that says "Coupon." Enter your coupon here and choose "Purchase Now" to finalize your order.
Please Note: Only one coupon code can be applied to each order. Coupons cannot be combined with other discounts and promotions.

Coupon codes and promotional sales are valid for specified time periods and may be applied to online purchases only. Discounts from coupon codes and promotional sales may not be applied retroactively to previously placed orders or to purchases made after the end of the promotion.
One-time use promotional sales and coupon codes must be used entirely within a single purchase. Any remaining balance will be forfeited. Free or reduced price shipping promotions are only valid on orders placed within the continental United States.
Free shipping promotions for orders over $100 are valid for UPS standard group shipping. Charges such as shipping do not count towards promotions requiring a minimum order cost.
If you purchased merchandise during a promotional sale or with a coupon code and then returned the item(s), you will be credited back the promotional price applied at the time of the order. If that particular promotional sale or coupon code has expired, that discount cannot be applied to a replacement item or future order.
UrbanMinx reserves the right to terminate or extend a promotional sale or coupon code at any time.
Order Processing
Orders placed Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) before 11am PST will begin processing that day. Pending availability and credit verification, your order will ship within 48 hours. Orders placed after 11am PST will be processed the next business day.
A member of our customer care team will contact you if we need further credit verification or if an item is not currently in stock. We are unable to cancel orders that have already been shipped.
Canceling an Order
An order may be canceled up to the point of shipping. Once an order has been shipped it cannot be canceled. Please note there is a $5 cancellation fee for orders.
Order or Credit Card Issues
We can only hold product for 24 hours. If there is a problem with your oder we will email you for further information or verification. If you do not respond within 24 hours of that email, we cannot hold that product for you.
