Royal Plush Clothing was founded in 2005 by husband and wife team, Steve and Michelle Waller. Michelle is the head designer and living inspiration for the brand. She began her career as a women’s clothing buyer and later opened her own successful specialty boutique in New York. Sensing a need for a new type of ladies casualwear and unable to find a brand that represented her lifestyle, she began developing the first Royal Plush collection. After a year in development, Michelle launched her line in March 2005 in Los Angeles and immediately was overwhelmed with orders.

Her pieces are comfortable, hip, sexy and luxurious. A woman can look stylish and fresh no matter what she’s doing. Comfy fabrics used in the line include ribbed cotton, fleece, terry, and cashmere. Embellished designs that are interesting without being contrived, are the Royal Plush trademark. Michelle’s inspiration comes from her love of travel and European décor. Favorite themes are translated into intricate embellishments, distressed fabric and custom jewelry hardware.

She currently creates four seasonal releases of Royal Plush per year, each with a specific theme derived from her latest inspirations. The line includes hoodies, pants, t-shirts, tanks, sweaters, down jackets, and vests and a line of accessories.

Celebrities such as Terry Hatcher, Hilary Duff, Eva Mendez and others have been spotted wearing Royal Plush around tinsel-town!
