 Daniel Bohbot spent 20 years working in the fashion industry before moving to Los Angeles and creating Hale Bob with his brother Marc. Hale Bob is loosely named after the rare comet Hale Bopp. And Hale Bob has certainly streaked across the fashion sky! Bohbot saw there was a niche for specialty pieces, things that would set women apart from the crowd. He combined his business acumen, love of travel and distinctive eye for beauty to create Hale Bob. He was initially inspired by a visit to Los Angeles, where he could truly cultivate his authentic, highly specialized California lifestyle brand of flirtatious and sophisticated clothing that embody feminine individuality. Inspiration also comes from watching women and how they dress and accessorize. “I see women in restaurants and clubs wear their clothes in ways that actually inspire the runways, instead of the other way around.” Often Hale Bob is referred to as the “spice” in your wardrobe of basic staples. The use of silk and it’s variations, charmeuse, chiffon, and velvet burnout, give his clothing a smooth sensuous feel against the skin.
