Colorado Clothing Company was founded in 1998 by Jeff Schmitt; along with his wife Tina, father Gary and business associate Tyler Swan. Colorado Clothing’s first landmark success was with micro chenille, a luxurious feeling polyester yarn. However, the team at Colorado Clothing is not resting on its laurels. Their latest innovation is using Soyuz, a blend of soy and bamboo fibers. It is nature’s most sustainable resource, grown without pesticides or chemicals, biodegradable and naturally regenerative. The spinning process makes this fabric softer than the softest cotton with a natural sheen that feels similar to silk or cashmere.
