Los Angeles now boasts the newest "Parisian-style" fashion house featuring the latest in contemporary designs. "Contemporary Fashion is not for everyone," states Bordeaux’s founder and Chief Creative Director, Ardy Raminfar. What started with the origination of “seamless” apparel manufacturing technology and luxury fabrics, has now resulted in a cutting-edge fashion house. With one-of-a-kind designs and fittings, the collection fits the needs of the most discriminating woman. Bordeaux has secured its mark as the leader in luxury knits and has now hired Montserrat Gonzalezlugo to lead all design efforts moving forward.

Born in Mexico, Montserrat Gonzalezlugo attended the St. Martin’s School in London and on June 5th, 2003, was awarded the highly regarded Prize of Technical Expertise from the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicate de la Couture Parisienne. Upon completion of her studies, she continued her work with some of the top fashion couture houses in the world, culminating in both a distinguished portfolio and reputation throughout Europe.

From Hermes Sellier, Montserrat comes to Los Angeles to work with the Bordeaux line in order to develop the collection’s identity within the fashion and high-end retail consumer environments. During her two-year tenure at Hermes, Montserrat assisted in the preparation of the womens's wear collection designed by Jean Paul Gaultier. Working directly under Mr. Gautier’s tutelage, she created stunning and unique samples for press presentations, designed new lace patterns and prints, and oversaw fittings of seasonal collections to ensure cohesion and cutting edge technical applications.

Montserrat Gonzalezlugo states that she will take Bordeaux where it is expected but not yet discovered. Currently, the line is separated into two distinct categories: "High fashion category," consisting of rayon and modal fabrics, and "Basics," consisting of seamless items and cottons. Their premiere collection features new luxury fabrics and treatments, including, but not limited to, woven fabrications, ribbon trims, and exquisite fit.

Bordeaux’s philosophy, “Bordeaux is not for everyone”, signifies the company’s commitment to the women that appreciate the special touch that comes from exceptional fashion design. The company’s notoriety stems from its trademarked seamless technology and the brand’s “fascination with color” to signify its wide array of seamless tanks, billowy tops, and sexy dresses. Supporters of the brand include Brittany Murphy, Andie MacDowell, Kristen Bell, Sofia Bush, Hayden Panytierri, and Winona Ryder.
